Participating in the Mrs. Maryland U.S. 2010 Pageant has been a really exciting experience for me. I have been able to expand on my platform of volunteerism and mentoring because of my title as Mrs. Mid-State U.S. 2010. My appearances has been great and have benefited people who really need help during our current economic situation. It's interesting how a small gesture to help or extend a hand towards someone during their time of need can make a difference. Sometimes it's a small as a smile or a word of encouragement is the only thing needed to help uplift someone who is going through personal challenges. God has truly blessed me to be able to be a positive impact through volunteering and I am humbled.
Pageant Day April 24th is almost here and I am ready to complete the other phase of my journey with many more phases to come. My prayer is to represent Maryland and go on to Nationals. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
